Currently reading, currently eating.

The past few days I've been listening to The Help via Audible, (love audio books). Oh what a fabulous read it is shaping up to be, only making my longing to visit the south that much stronger.

All those southern accents certainly have their charm, but what really has been making me hanker are the descriptions of that fine, fine southern cooking.

Sizzling pork chops, green beans and caramel cake- my absolute food heaven. Seeing as I don't have a gluten free recipe for caramel cake I whipped up these rhubarb cupcakes and iced them with a healthy dose of buttercream frosting. So very yum, plus caramel cake craving appeased for now. That doesn't mean I've stopped dreaming of that cake though...
